POF/PE/PVC transparent shrink films are common heat shrink films. What are the differences between these transparent shrink films?
2025-04-16 15:55PE film is a very tough material and is not easy to be crushed by ordinary plastic crushers. Because PE film is soft and tough, it is not easy to be shredded. Moreover, the high temperature of the knife at high speed will cause LDPE to melt and adhere to the blade. PE granulation can be directly put into the feed port of the extruder in strips, and the PE film is dragged into the barrel by the shear force of the screw to heat and melt it for extrusion granulation. The first-grade material recycled by PE can still be blown into film for non-food and pharmaceutical packaging. It is also widely used in the production of Oxford leather and waterproof cloth, and has a bright future.
PVC is polyvinyl chloride, with additional ingredients to enhance its heat resistance, toughness, ductility, etc. The top layer of this surface film is paint, the main component in the middle is polyvinyl chloride, and the bottom layer is back-coated adhesive. It is a synthetic material that is well-loved, popular and widely used in the world today. Among the materials that can produce three-dimensional surface films, PVC is the most suitable material.
POF means heat shrink film. The full name of POF is multi-layer co-extruded polyolefin heat shrink film. It uses linear low-density polyethylene as the middle layer (LLDPE) and co-polypropylene (pp) as the inner and outer layers. It is plasticized and extruded by three extruders, and then processed by special processes such as die head molding and film bubble blowing.
